Job Description



Under direction, is responsible for overseeing more complex work in investigating, analyzing, and determining the extent of the City's liability involving accidents, incidents, or other occurrences involving city property, vehicles, or employees resulting in third-party personal injury or property damage. May exercise supervision over assigned staff.

City Tower, 100 W. Houston Street (78205)

Work Hours
7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Qualifications



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of experience handling bodily injury and liability claims, coverage issues, and lien resolutions (including Medicare) to include two (2) years handling claims with a government entity.
  • Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
  • Texas Property and Casualty Adjuster License, or All-Line or Multi-Lines license.
  • Any applicant selected for this position must have a background check completed with results satisfactory to the City of San Antonio and successfully complete the City of San Antonio's Cash-Handling Certification Training.
