We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Accountant to join our client’s team in Orland Park, IL. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in corporate tax, tax planning and compliance, with a strategic mindset to optimize financial performance. This role offers the opportunity to take the lead on tax projects, collaborate with leadership and provide insights on complex tax issues.

Senior Corporate Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of complex federal, state and local tax returns
• Lead tax audits, ensuring accurate and timely responses to inquiries
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for optimizing tax liabilities
• Analyze financial data for accurate tax reporting and compliance
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and provide recommendations for process improvements

Senior Corporate Tax Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 4+ years of experience in corporate tax preparation and filing
• Deep knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
