This role is central to evolving how the firm leverages information to drive strategic and operational decisions. Key Responsibilities: + Partner closely with teams across the organization to collect requirements and translate them into secure, well-structured data assets. + Identify areas where data can unlock value and lead the development of scalable solutions to address them. + Provide actionable insights and tools to leadership through reliable data systems and services. + Design and maintain robust data pipelines that support analytics and operational tools across diverse functions. + Empower analysts and decision-makers through structured, accessible data and self-serve tools. + Ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability through proactive monitoring and validation techniques. + Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and system issues in pre-production and production environments. + Maintain internal tooling and infrastructure supporting the data platform, including scripting, deployment automation, and configuration management. Requirements + Minimum 3 years of experience in a data-centric technical role-such as data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar. + Proven, hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry-must be highly skilled in building pipelines, data modeling (ontology), and operational deployment. + Entrepreneurial mindset with a preference for building quick, functional solutions that address business needs over over-engineering. + Strong communicator with the ability to navigate complex technical projects and collaborate effectively across departments. + Advanced SQL expertise, along with proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language. + Knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern analytics tools (such as dbt, Looker, Tableau, or Redshift). Bonus Points: + Experience supporting AI or machine learning initiatives through thoughtful data engineering practices. + Familiarity with building data flows that feed into generative AI tools, including vector search, embeddings, and prompt design. + Understanding of how structured data enables automation and AI-based decision systems. + Exposure to tools used in AI/LLM workflows and a vision for integrating data and automation across the organization.
