We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to spearhead our federal and state tax planning and compliance efforts. This pivotal role is crucial for shaping and optimizing tax strategies that support our business initiatives and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of tax strategies for federal and state projects, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and treasury, to align tax strategies with overarching business objectives.
• Oversee compliance and reporting related to transfer pricing and identify tax-saving opportunities, particularly in light of new legislative changes and R&D credits.
• Drive process improvements and incorporate technological advancements in tax operations.
• Provide strategic guidance on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting, ensuring adherence to export tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Supervise external consultants, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct thorough technical research to remain informed about the latest tax developments and communicate potential impacts to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Tax or Accounting; a Master's in Taxation is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate tax, with a preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth expertise in federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with tax compliance and accounting software.
