Job Description

829’s SEO Specialist role is a mid-level position on the Search Engine Optimization team. You will be reporting directly to an SEO Manager and service a book of small to medium clients independently or in teams.  An ideal candidate for this role will have a solid foundation of common SEO concepts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for growth in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.  This role requires previous experience with search engine optimization and offers a straightforward career path to advance within the team.

What You’ll Do

• Auditing websites for SEO
• Addressing technical issues
• Developing in-depth content strategy based on keyword and market research
• Writing and implementing search engine optimized copy
• Optimizing client-produced content for SEO
• Direct communication with clients when necessary

What You’ll Bring

• 1 - 2 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO
• Experience with Wordpress, SquareSpace, or other CMS
• Experience with SEMRush or equivalent tools
• Good understanding of Google Analytics
• Nice to Have: Front-end development experience and/or HubSpot experience
