Your Role
As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you'll play a key role in empowering students by adapting learning strategies to meet their unique needs. You'll work closely with families, school staff, and students to foster a collaborative learning environment where everyone succeeds.

What You'll Do
Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's learning goals.
Customize lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities.
Manage a virtual classroom effectively, delivering engaging and supportive instruction through online platforms.
Partner with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure students' progress is regularly monitored and supported.
Conduct virtual assessments and use data-driven strategies to adjust and enhance instructional methods.
Maintain consistent communication with students and their families, building strong relationships to foster engagement and success.

What We're Looking For
Certification: A valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching Credential is required.
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
Experience: Prior experience developing and implementing IEPs in either a virtual or in-person setting.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using virtual learning tools and technology to create effective instructional experiences.
Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
