Adelphi is seeking Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide school-based speech and language therapy support services for a school district in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech, language, and communication needs, delivering therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:
• Must hold a valid Washington State license to practice as an SLPA.
• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related program.
• Certification or eligibility for Washington State OSPI certification for school-based practice.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of speech and language development and therapy techniques.
• Ability to implement therapy plans and provide services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school teams and families.
Responsibilities:
• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting screenings and providing therapy services.
• Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP to support students’ IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP.
• Document therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Support SLPs in preparing materials and maintaining therapy records.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to help integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and home settings.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality in all therapy-related communication and documentation.
• Attend meetings and training as required to support therapy services and professional growth.
