Express Yourself Speech and Language Therapy LLC is a private practice providing speech therapy and occupational therapy services. We believe in the power of effective communication and we are seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our Superstar team!!✨✨

As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to our clients. If you are passionate, adaptable, and have a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children, we would love for you to join our team!!🎉🎉

Responsibilities:

• independently implement intervention techniques during therapy sessions that take into consideration of all unique characteristics and communication needs of each client
• independently and accurately complete a weekly lesson plan for each client
• independently and accurately complete a weekly treatment note for each client
• *independently and accurately complete a progress report for for each client when required
• educate parents and/or caregivers on strategies to promote independence with skills targeted in the therapy session

Requirements

• bachelor's degree in speech language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited program
• valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
• pass a criminal background check
• excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
• excellent organizational skills and effective time management skills
• excellent problem-solving skills
• excellent observation skills
