Exciting Opportunity: Sr. Java/Node Developer (Hybrid) Fortune 500 Project in Canada.

We are seeking a Senior Java/Node.js Developer to join a high-performing team driving innovation in a Fortune 500 project. This hybrid role is based in Toronto, Ontario, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies and scalable solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain robust, secure, and scalable cloud-based services.
• Partner with product managers, software architects, and development teams to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
• Design and implement cloud-based architectures using industry best practices.
• Contribute to process improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Document, present, and share technical solutions effectively.
• Work with top engineers, mentor junior developers, and stay ahead with emerging technologies.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable code that reaches millions of users.
• Make key technical decisions that shape the future of the product.

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in software development with expertise in Java & Node.js.
• Strong experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Terraform for continuous delivery.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve issues in production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, Spinnaker, etc.) .
• Background in writing unit and integration tests
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
