Job Title: Technical Project Manager Telecommunications

Location: US only Remote position

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with over 10 years of expertise in delivering large-scale telecommunications projects. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end technical programs involving LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and cloud infrastructure. This role requires strong coordination between engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full project lifecycle from scoping to go-live for LTE, VoLTE, 4G/5G, and Wi-Fi deployments.
• Manage multiple concurrent telecom projects for Tier 1Tier 3 operators across regions including LATAM, Caribbean, Middle East, and APAC.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer stakeholders to gather requirements and define Scope of Work (SOW).
• Conduct integration, acceptance testing, and go-live planning.
• Coordinate with telecom vendors such as Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, and others for gateway and service integration.
• Oversee cloud readiness activities including AWS/OpenStack infrastructure sizing, deployment, and optimization.
• Handle risk mitigation and change request processes for evolving customer requirements.
• Lead periodic customer reviews and CXO-level program meetings.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with quality standards across projects.
• Support pre-sales teams with technical input and alignment with business objectives.

• Protocols/Technologies: RADIUS, DIAMETER, EAP, AAA, PCRF, UDR, UDM
• Cloud/Infrastructure: AWS Cloud Platform, Red Hat OpenStack
• Tools: Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Icinga, Jenkins, Wireshark
• Languages: C++, Node.js
• OS: Linux Networking

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical project or program management within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of mobile core networks, 4G/5G architecture, and cloud migration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional team leadership.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, including working with executive stakeholders.
