COMPENSTATION:

This is an HOURLY/NON-EXEMPT POSITION. The hourly range is: $31.00 - $31.50.

JOB SUMMARY:

Liaison between 3 rd Party Carriers, Warehouses, and Purchasing Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconcile daily/monthly Traffic Reports
• Audit and Adjust invoices (daily and monthly)
• Conduct Vendor Freight Analysis
• Draft and type correspondence
• Track, confirm, and file vendor claims
• Scheduling Inbound Receiving loads and tendering loads as needed
• Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and on-call
• Maintain the confidentiality of all reports and Company information
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by the Traffic Manager

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Traffic / Logistics
• High School Diploma required - College Degree and/or Certificate preferred
• Typing skills: 35 w.p.m
• 10-Key by Touch with Speed and Accuracy
• Proficient with Personal Computer to include Microsoft Office - Word, Excel (spreadsheet skills), and Calendar functions of Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from within and outside the Company
• Confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and problem solving required
