Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Travel Counselor to join our Reservations and Customer Service team. This is a fully remote, part-time position based in Massachusetts. As a Travel Counselor, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service to our mature guests, assisting them with their travel plans, and ensuring a seamless experience before, during, and after their tours. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, offering personalized assistance and care with a positive, patient, and empathetic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming customer calls with professionalism, providing assistance for both service and sales inquiries.
Maintain excellent telephone etiquette on every call.
Make outbound calls as needed (e.g., for collections, date consolidation, or requested call-backs).
Update and maintain reservation information in accordance with company guidelines.
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and quality assurance.
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and foster a positive work environment.
Participate in team discussions to improve understanding of processes and policies.
Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed.
Requirements:
At least two years of experience in a customer service role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interact with mature guests in a courteous, calm, and empathetic manner.
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
International travel experience (outside of North America) is preferred.
Call or contact center experience is a plus.
