Description

The Truck Driver CDL-A is responsible for product movement between Stonewall Kitchen sites as well as regional vendors. This position performs systematic inventory movement as well as equipment aided loading and unloading.  

Hours:  Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, with mandatory overtime. 

Hourly rate:  $27.50 

JOB SUMMARY

• Load and unload truck using pallet jack, forklift, or other appropriate equipment.
• Use warehouse management device to systematically load and unload product. 
• Perform pickups and/or deliveries to or from vendors, Stonewall Kitchen facilities, Stonewall Kitchen Stores, and other locations as directed. 
• Perform general maintenance for company vehicles (e.g., check oil, fill fuel tank, fill window washer fluid, remove snow, etc.). 
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and vehicles throughout shift and at the end of the shift. 
• Complete and maintain daily DOT trucking log via Electronic Logging Device (ELD) including safety inspections. 
• Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate department supervisor.

Requirements

EXPECTATIONS

• High school education or equivalent.
• A valid CDL Class A driver’s license with clean driving record and no restrictions.
• A valid current Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Properly enrolled in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must submit to and pass random drug & alcohol testing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, twist, bend, reach, squat and climb stairs.
• 3 years driving experience preferred.
• Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) preferred.
• Must be computer literate.

OTHER DUTIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, including food safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require.
