Veterinary CSR Manager

 

Welcome to Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC)! We are a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital offering expertise in seven specialties . As our team continues to grow, we are looking for motivated, positive, and compassionate individuals to join us.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary CSR Manager to lead our client service team.

Overview:
Under the direction of the Hospital Director, the CSR Manager will execute exceptional customer service experience for all clients who interact with AESC .  Uphold and elevate our reputation in the community by thorough, timely, and attentive customer service experiences.  Manage and supervise the CSR staff to ensure the high-quality standards of AESC are always met.  Develop systems and processes that elevate our customer service experience in an efficient and effective manner.

Compensation:
  • $65,000- $85,000, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
People Management
  • Oversees staffing, hiring, training, and performance management for high-quality patient care.
  • Develop training programs and mentor employees.
  • Collaborate with department Leads to maintain standards.
Hospital Operations
  • Manages daily hospital functions, staff scheduling, and PTO approvals.
  • Works with leadership to control labor expenses and address client concerns.
  • Optimizes resources and ensures safety compliance.
Financial Duties
  • Supports payroll processing and incentive programs.
  • Conducts financial analysis for new services and equipment.
  • Manages procurement outside the Inventory Coordinator’s role.
Technology & Technical Support
  • Ensures efficient use of EzyVet & Smartflow.
  • Escalates equipment issues and develops contingency plans.
  • Provides technical training, coaching, and emergency staffing coverage.
Leadership
  • Fosters a positive culture and leads meetings.
  • Drives process improvements and provide leadership coverage.
  • Handles escalations, participates in policy development, and serves in on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a full-time Customer Service role.
  • At least 2 years of full-time work experience in a leadership role (lead, supervisor, manager).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in supervisor or manager role in customer service (hospitality, retail, or other comparable service industry) or healthcare (human or veterinary) industry.
  • Management experience must include managing a team of direct reports.
  • Experience in Veterinary or Human medicine is a plus but not required.
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
