Job Description

We are actively hiring a Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a contractor pickup facility in Fort Worth, TX 76140 . This 3-month contract pays $17/hour and offers the potential for long-term employment. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented candidate with strong forklift experience and basic computer skills , who values teamwork, flexibility, and communication in a small but fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate various forklifts including sit-down, stand-up, reach, and cherry picker (electric, propane, and diesel)
• Pull and stock parts using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and computer systems
• Load and unload delivery trucks while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy
• Escort contractors while maintaining security and safety protocols
• Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and well-organized
• Respond to occasional urgent needs outside standard shift hours
• Support a small team in daily warehouse functions with strong communication

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of hands-on forklift experience (multiple lift types)
• Computer-literate with experience using warehouse software and RF scanners
• Strong communication skills and team mindset
• Must have a clean background – no history of theft or violence
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials throughout the shift
• Flexibility to be on call and available outside regular hours if needed
• Steel toe footwear required; must follow casual warehouse dress code (jeans/shirt)
