Job Description

HEAVYCRAFT is seeking skilled Welding candidates. This role involves performing welding and repair tasks on tanks, structures, and piping within an active mine site. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding, cutting, and repair on tanks, structures, and mining machinery as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance on mining equipment to minimize downtime
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and job orders.
• Use various welding methods, including GMAW and SMAW.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Follow mine site safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and comply with all safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, with attention to safety and equipment upkeep.
• Assist with other jobsite duties as directed by site supervisors

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a mining, industrial, or heavy equipment setting
• Proficiency with MIG, and stick welding techniques; D1.1 certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening (required for mine site access).
• Flexibility to work extended hours, shifts, and weekends as necessary.
