We are actively seeking experienced civil litigation attorneys! Candidates must have at least 3 years of recent civil litigation defense experience to be considered. Responsibilities:
* Provide independent case support.
* Effectively interact with clients, counsel, and supervising attorneys.
* Analyze and draft discovery requests and responses.
* Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda
* Draft complaints, motions, and other legal documents.
* Assess, draft, and argue dispositive motions.
* Prepare for and defend depositions of witnesses.
* Participate in court hearings and mediations.
* Deliver exceptional service to all clients.
* Adhere to billing and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
* Licensed in good standing with the California State Bar.
* Three or more years of civil litigation experience, general liability experience preferred
* Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload.
* Strong research and writing skills.
* Effective oral advocacy skills and familiarity with rules of evidence.
* Ability to multitask while demonstrating attention to detail.
* Strong communication and time management skills.
