The Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant Professor or Assistant Research Scientist or Research Investigator faculty positions. A particular focus of this search is on candidates who are interested in biostatistical research aligned with the Cancer Data Science (CDS) Shared Resource () and Department of Radiology at University of Michigan. CDS fosters active engagement and collaboration geared towards development and application of rigorous biostatistical methodologies to data emerging from cancer-focused studies across the spectrum of basic, clinical and population sciences research at the Rogel Cancer Center at University of Michigan. Specifically, the focus will be on developing and implementing quantitative methodologies for biological and clinical data that include, but not limited to, radiology-based and spatial imaging-based investigations.
Candidates must have a strong research background with a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, the computational sciences or a related field. Candidates being considered for this position will be expected to develop an outstanding research program.
