Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hr (Includes $2/hr differential for night shift)
Hours:
· Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
· Night Shift: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Welder for a weld shop located in Sapulpa, OK. The Structural Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling metal structures and components according to project specifications and blueprints.
This role demands expertise in welding techniques, thorough knowledge of structural welding codes and safety practices, and the ability to work on various materials and projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
· Perform structural welding and assembly based on blueprints and specifications.
· Execute welding techniques using MIG and Fluxcore processes.
· Complete test requirements:
o 2G MIG Horizontal with Bend Test
o 2G Fluxcore Radiographed
o ½” Plate Double Bevel with Backing Bar
· Maintain compliance with welding codes, safety standards, and company policies.
· Collaborate effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of shop welding experience (fitting experience is a plus).
· Technical Skills: Proficient in MIG and Fluxcore welding with the ability to pass radiographed and bend tests.
· Certifications: Familiarity with structural welding codes is highly preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
