What You'll Do:
As a Tax Manager, you'll be a vital part of our tax team, responsible for a wide range of exciting and impactful tasks. You'll work closely with our Tax Director, helping to implement smart tax strategies that minimize our tax burden and manage risk.
Here's a glimpse of your day-to-day:
Dive into Tax Provisions: Prepare and review year-end tax provisions, ensuring compliance with ASC 740. You'll analyze book-to-tax calculations, effective tax rates, and more, working closely with external tax accounting firms.
Master Tax Estimates & Extensions: Handle quarterly estimates and extensions for federal and state tax returns, keeping us ahead of the game.
Navigate Tax Compliance: Assist in reviewing and filing corporate federal and state income tax returns, as well as international information returns. You'll prepare and review detailed tax work papers and apportionment.
Oversee Indirect Tax: Manage and oversee the use tax computations generated by our TR OneSource Tax Engine.
Tackle Tax Controversies: Support tax audit defense and controversy processes by analyzing information requests and collaborating on resolving audit issues.
Conduct Technical Research: Dive deep into complex tax issues, preparing memos and determining appropriate tax treatments.
Support Exciting Projects: Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and special projects like R&D and transfer pricing studies.
Drive Technology & Automation: Lead the evolution of tax technology tools and support technology enhancements.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Help us refine and improve tax processes as we grow and expand.
Communicate & Collaborate: Work across departments and with external tax firms, providing guidance and support on various tax matters.
Advise Leadership: Provide support and guidance to the Executive Management Team on tax matters and upcoming law changes.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Advanced Degree preferred).
CPA certification required.
4-5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in public accounting.
4-5+ years of federal and state corporate income tax compliance experience.
3+ years of tax provision experience (ASC 740).
Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A knack for identifying and implementing process improvements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Integrity and sound judgment.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 4 days in office.
